CLASS DESCRIPTION
Your budding designers' imaginations will soar when they learn how to use a sewing machine and make their first project in only 90 minutes! Designed for kids ages 7-12 who have never touched a sewing machine, our expert seamstress and local mom will walk them through the basics of threading, cutting and sewing and get them creating in no time.
INSTRUCTOR DESCRIPTION
Lauren has taught hundreds of people how to sew through her mobile sewing school, Sew Mojo. She is a popular sewing and patternmaking instructor at Remainders Creative Reuse and The Hive South Pasadena. A seamstress and custom-made costumer with 15 years of experience in film, television and theatre, her credits include "Hacks," "The Mandalorian," "Shazam!," and "Deadwood."
Commitment
One session includes four weekly group classes and one make-up, so your rhythm isn't interrupted—even if you have to miss a week. Enrolling in a class means committing to the full session, creating continuity for both you and the group.
Skill Level
Must know how to use a sewing machine or have taken Intro to Sewing for Kids.
